Working on the Reidel Residence was as rewarding as it was creative. Jason and Gorjana, the duo behind Gorjana Jewelry, approached this remodel with the same eye for detail and timeless design that defines their brand. The challenge: take an existing three-level Laguna Beach home and reimagine it into a space that felt fresh, functional, and true to their lifestyle.

Reimagining Every Floor

On the lower level, we expanded the bathroom to include a new walk-in steam shower, a dual-sink vanity, and a utility closet tucked neatly under the stairs. The office was redesigned into a private suite with its own bathroom, making the downstairs flexible for guests or extended family. Large folding pocket doors were introduced to connect the interior directly to the backyard, maximizing natural light and ocean breezes.

The main level became the hub of daily life, anchored by a brand-new kitchen and thoughtfully reconfigured circulation. We added a powder bath, laundry room, and walk-in pantry, while carving out a cozy bench nook to define the dining area. A new fireplace with built-in cabinetry and a beverage center elevate the space, creating both warmth and function.

Upstairs, the master suite was transformed with dual closets, a redesigned bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and dual vanities, and a small in-room beverage station. Privacy and flow were improved with subtle changes to the hallway and stairwell, ensuring the entire top floor feels like a calm retreat.

The Reidel Residence remodel reflects the same balance of elegance and everyday practicality that Jason and Gorjana bring to their jewelry designs. From reconfigured living spaces to carefully curated details, every element was designed to feel intentional, polished, and enduring.
