Here at Brewster's Drafting House, I've made it my life's work to specialize in residential home design, but where I excel the most is working one-on-one with YOU, the homeowner. Remodeling or building a new home can often feel like a large task to take on, but I love being there as a supportive partner and helpful guide to help you plan and build the home of your dreams. I have had the honor to work on everything home design, from simple kitchen and bath remodels, ADUs, Deck and Garage designs, full-scale renovations, and new construction homes. Since you start the home remodel or design process with an Architectural Designer, I make it my mission to support you from start to finish. I treat my clients with respect, always responding in a timely manner, always making sure they are heard, because while I may have a plethora of design knowledge to share and a trained eye to see things you may not, I understand first and foremost that your home should be designed and built FOR YOU.

I have been designing homes in Southern California for over a decade, with nothing but satisfied clients and beautiful homes, finished and tailored to those who dwell in them. I love simplicity and transparency in my pricing. Home design projects can take anywhere from 6 months up to 5 years (looking at you Coastal Commission), and oftentimes, homeowners get trapped in contracts that see fees upon fees being demanded of them from their architects or designers with only some basic floor plans to show for it. I will give you one price for your project scope, as a flat fee which can be broken down to work with any budget and on a payment timeline that works for you, the homeowner. What this means is that you will know how much I expect for my work through permit approval UP FRONT with no need to worry from start to finish. No hidden fees, no hourly payments, no asking for more money simply because Coastal Commission or another hiccup has caused your project to get delayed; I am here for you from when we start, until you have approved permits in hand. As an added bonus, I understand life can happen, and I don't hold clients liable for any payments still outstanding if their project needs to be postponed or cancelled for any reason. You can ask, I am still answering, assisting, and responding to my clients who have been stuck for YEARS with various issues from losing their contractor, to Coastal Commission, to having been overcharged and under supplied by their previous Architect/Designer. Whether your project takes 6 months or 5 years, I'm here for you, and the only time you'll ever see our price change, is if you request a change beyond what we initially priced you for. We'll do this as a supplemental one-time fee that keeps it clear the added cost for the expanded scope you are requesting. (i.e. - we priced a 1-story 800 square foot addition at first, but after some design work you decide you'd like a 2-story 2,000 square foot addition instead, we'll simply add a flat-cost for the difference, ensuring you aren't charged twice for any work already completed or priced).
